Provides an understanding of how learning occurs and the implications for instruction. Topics include the psychosocial developmental characteristics of the child; student variability and diversity; issues of prejudice and discrimination; multi-cultural education; group dynamics and positive social interaction. Education major prerequisites: PSYC120 and EDUC200.
