Description

A study of limits and continuity of functions, derivatives, rules and applications of differentiation, inverse trigonometric functions, rates of change, single-variable optimization, Newton’s method, and indefinite integrals. A wide variety of applications from the physical, natural, and social sciences is explored. A solid background in algebra and trigonometry is expected. Prerequisite: MATH112 or equivalent.
