Description

A study of functions, starting with the definition and focusing on the use of functions in all forms to model the real world. Includes comparing linear and nonlinear functions, transforming functions, looking at polynomial and rational functions globally and locally, models of growth and decline and systems of equations. Students need to be proficient in Intermediate Algebra.
