Supply
List:
2:
B pencils.
1:
white plastic eraser.
1:
two-hole metal pencil sharpener.
1:
black Prismacolor marker, double ended, with fine and chisel tip.
1:
18x24 drawing pad, preferably tape-bound or spiral-bound with perforated,
pullout sheets. Suitable for dry
and wet media if possible.
1:
A 12” metal, cork-backed ruler.
1:
large glue stick (clear, not colored), paste rather than liquid type.
1:
adult-sized scissors.
1:
roll artists or drafting tape (low-tack, removable).
1:
set of 50 to 100 sheets of construction paper, assorted color, highest possible
quality and quantity for 3.50 or less.
1:
basic color theory acrylic set with red, yellow, blue, white and black.
1:
medium sized flat acrylic bristle brush
1:
medium sized round acrylic bristle brush
1:
small sized round acrylic bristle brush
2: water
Containers: medium margerine containers work well.
1:
color wheel
2:
sheets hot press watercolor paper: 140 weight, 18x24 or as close to as
possible.
1:
set of water-soluble wax pastels, preferably Neocolor set of twelve. If this is
not available, a set of 10-12 water-soluble colored pencil or regular oil
pastels.
Several
Magazines: (for collages and visual examples).
Recommended:
Apron or old shirt. A small box
with handle for supplies (a tackle box works well).
